Republic Square

Republic square, located in the heart of Yerevan, was designed by architect Alexander Tamanyan in 1924. The square is decorated with singing and dancing fountains, two museums, impressive government buildings (built in 1920-1950). There is a big stone pattern in the center, meant to look like a traditional Armenian rug from above
