The hike to Kayan Berd Fortress begins from the Haghpat Gorge and reaches the top of the mountain in front of the Zarni-Parni cave-fortress. Most of the trail to the Kayan Berd passes through the forest. A beautiful view of Haghpat Gorge opens up during the hike, and from the territory of the fortress you will enjoy panoramic views of the Debet Gorge, the Zarni-Parni fortress and the surrounding villages.

The total length of the route is 3 km, and the duration is 2 hours (without rest).
