  • Classic Tours
  • 1 day
  • Jun - Aug

Overview

After the pollination of the pines, the next miracle of the Stepanavan region is the flowering of white water lilies (Nymphaea alba L.). The flowering period begins in late June and continues until early August. The water lilies open at sunrise, and close at sunset and sink into the water. This miracle of nature is registered in the Red Book of Armenia.
This tour provides a wonderful opportunity to discover the natural beauty of Stepanavan, as well as visit the medieval fortress of Lori Berd.

Lovers of hiking have the opportunity to walk on several sections of the route:
- 4 km walk along the Urasar - Lake of Water Lilies - Urasar route.
- Descend from Lori Berd to the Urut Gorge and the Mishkhana Bridge
- Walk in the Stepanavan Arboretum

If desired, we can provide a comfortable crossover car for the entire tour, which can also reach the Water Lilies Lake.
