The medieval cemetery of Kapuyt village is unique in its composition. It consists of two parts: the cemetery and the rock. In addition to tombstones and khachkars(cross-stones) in memory of the deceased, khachkars were also carved on the adjacent rock.

Rock

The entire face of the rock is covered with khachkars, and it looks very impressive. Unfortunately, weathering has significantly damaged the sculptures.

Cemetery

In front of the rock there is a small cemetery, which, in addition to tombstones, contains many beautiful khachkars. The khachkars are well preserved, and some of the tombstones are covered with a layer of soil.
