The Nameless Lake of the Kapuyt village in the Vayots Dzor region is located at an altitude of 2050 meters above sea level. The lake was formed on the Kapuyt (Akhta) tributary of the Arpa River. In 1964, due to the collapse of the mountain, the riverbed was closed and a natural dam was formed. The water began to accumulate and formed a small lake, the length of which is about 300 meters, and the maximum width is 100 meters.
The lake is included in the list of natural monuments of Armenia. It is also known as Lake of the Gomk, as the Gomk village is located nearby.
